yup. ordered this bad boy from madewell during their extra 30% off sale along with two pairs of killer shoes. can’t wait to get it all in the mail.

the closet clean out has been going well. the hat i’m wearing above i’ve owned for at least two years and have finally worn it for the first time today. i’m not usually big on wearing hats but tend to buy them anyway. right now i’m waiting for chris he has some business stuffs to attend to and i agreed to tag along. big mistake. i’m surrounded by designers that i drool over; chanel, louis vuitton, hermes, and the list goes on and on. thankfully i haven’t bought anything, but believe me the temptation is there! anyway. hope everyone’s having a lovely week.

fall wish list…. thanks j.crew
finally had time to flip through j.crew’s latest catalogue. they’ve done it again; taken all of my hopes, dreams, & fashion lusts and translated it into a 139 page catalogue. here’s my favorite things for this fall via j.crew.
outfits all within the same color family, collared shirts buttoned up all the way with chunky jewelry overtop, and a fun coat.
the perfect messy ponytail, a strong lip, & classic shades. who says sunglasses are only for summer?
sweaters in strong colors like orangey reds, navy blues, and mustard browns. has the feel of being slightly masculine and sporty but is still cute in the process.
bow ties made feminine by wearing them with collared shirts (and a chunky necklace) or with a dress. i absolutely love bow ties, i constantly buy them for chris and have wanted to try and wear one but haven’t figured out how until now.
bold plaid flannels and herringbone trousers to the ankle. as someone that is on the shorter side i find it hard to find pants the right length for me. lately i’ve been loving pants that hit right at the ankle, something about the style makes me feel very audrey hepburn. not to mention the ones pictured above are a beautiful camel color; another fall favorite.
some things not pictured but in my fall wish list; boots. i love boots. i recently just spent the most i’ve EVER spent on any one thing on a pair of gorgeous boots (will blog about later) so i’ve been hesitant to look at other pairs. give it about another week or two and my “i-can’t-believe-i-spent-this-much-money-on-shoes” guilt will be gone.
